Porcelain Pendants and Cabochons |
|
|
Description : Made from the finest porcelain, each piece is formed and shaped by hand. Once the shape has been created, it is left to dry 'leather hard.' It is then worked into, using several mark making techniques. These beautiful, one of a kind pieces, display areas of the most intricate detail. Glazes are applied, layering, wiping back and layering again. The pendants are fired at least three times (sometimes four) and finished with either subtle highlights of lustres or pure silver. Some have anealed wire loops for attachments. Uses : Necklace focals. They could also be used in sewing, knitting, felting and mixed media work. |
